How to buy a diamond ring?

Make an appointment with Melinda and she will help you choose the ring of your dreams. We have many new and old solitaire rings in stock, otherwise together we can design a unique ring to better reflect your desires.

We have a large stock of unmounted diamonds certified by the GIA, HRD or Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie as well as settings ready to accept diamonds. We can of course work with you to make a unique and bespoke ring according to your design or wish.

Created more than a billion years ago in the depths of the earth, carbon was subjected to unimaginable pressures and temperatures to finally be transformed into diamonds. Very few diamonds are perfectly pure or white, it’s the little differences that make each diamond unique. When we talk about the different qualities of diamonds, we often cite the four Cs: Color (colour), Cut (the type of cut), Clarity (purity) and Carat (weight in carats). But, to really appraise a diamond, there are still two another criterion to take into account; the quality of the cut fluorescence. The closer the proportions of the diamond’s cut approach to ideal proportions, the more valuable it will be.

To buy a diamond ring, the ideal is to choose a diamond certified by an organization independent of its retailer and have it mounted on a setting of your choice. At Osprey we have nothing to hide and we always offer our customers the opportunity to examine our certified diamonds with a magnifying glass and to verify our certificates. For us, an informed customer is a winning customer, because we know that our prices are very fair and our service and reception are impeccable.

Do not hesitate to visit us to discuss without any obligation, don’t be shy!
