Denarius of Porcia in silver, 3.88 grams , circa 149 BC.   The Porcia family is mentioned in history from the middle of the third century BC.  The gens Porcia is divided into three branches under the republic with the names of Cato, Laeca and Licinus. 

Obverse VF with head of goddess Rome on the right with the winged helmet; behind, X reverse TB with La Victoire holding a whip in a galloping bige right.
